What Gao Workspace Is Not#

  • Not a custodial wallet

  • Not a financial institution

  • Not an investment platform

  • Not a yield dashboard

  • Not a token trading interface

  • Not a centralized identity registry

What Gao Workspace Is#

  • A user interface for interacting with Gao protocols

  • A policy configuration console

  • A domain and agent management interface

  • A receipt and activity explorer

  • A governance participation interface

  • An operations console for AI agents and intelligent workflows

Overview Description#

Gao Workspace is the operational interface of the Gao Internet ecosystem.

It provides the primary environment where users, organizations, and AI agents interact with Gao infrastructure.

Workspace provides:

  • Identity dashboard (Gao Domain management)

  • Payment activity and receipt view

  • Agent management controls

  • Policy and budget configuration

  • Commerce interaction (via Gao Commerce)

  • Cross-layer visibility (Network / DePIN / AI OS)

  • AI agent creation and orchestration

  • Automation workflow management

  • Real-time monitoring and signals

Workspace is an interface layer, not a protocol.

It does not execute settlement, routing, or identity logic. Those functions belong to their respective layers.

Workspace does not execute agent logic. All runtime execution occurs through the Gao AI OS runtime (GAR).

Workspace functions as the control plane for intelligent systems operating across the Gao Internet architecture.

Workspace Architecture#

The Workspace environment coordinates agents, applications, and operational resources through a modular architecture.

This architecture separates:

  • user interaction

  • agent configuration

  • runtime execution

  • persistent knowledge

Workspace Module Map#

Functional Overview#

1. Identity Management

  • Register or manage Gao Domains

  • Update address mappings

  • Configure recovery options

  • Manage agent permissions

Ownership remains key-controlled (Layer 5 — Gao Domain).

Workspace does not custody keys.

2. Payment and Receipt Explorer

  • View canonical receipts (Layer 4)

  • Track transaction status

  • Review settlement finality

  • Export structured logs

Workspace does not process payments.

It reads publicly verifiable receipts generated by Layer 4.

3. Policy and Budget Controls

Users may configure:

  • Spending limits

  • Merchant allowlists

  • Autopay thresholds

  • Risk tolerances

Enforcement occurs at Layer 4.

Workspace only configures. It cannot override Layer 4 enforcement.

4. Agent Control Panel

  • Grant or revoke agent capabilities

  • Monitor agent actions

  • Suspend or lock automation

  • Enable safe mode (deny-all)

Agents cannot operate without policy authorization.

Human authority is preserved at all times.

5. Governance Interface

  • View governance proposals

  • Cast contribution-weighted votes

  • Track parameter changes

Token ownership alone does not grant governance power.

Governance weight is earned through verified contribution to the network.

Workspace Execution Model#

Typical operational flow within Workspace follows this sequence:

User Interaction
↓
Workspace Module (Seal / Studio / Automation)
↓
Agent Builder Configuration
↓
GAR Runtime Execution
↓
Tool / Connector / Sandbox Operations
↓
Artifact Creation
↓
Knowledge Processing
↓
Memory Graph Update

This model ensures that all agent actions remain:

  • policy-governed

  • identity-bound

  • auditable

  • traceable
